At California Dealer Academy, we provide digital education, licensing guidance, downloadable materials, online courses, consultation-based support, and related dealership setup resources. Because our products and services often provide immediate access to educational content, digital materials, proprietary guidance, and/or scheduled support, all sales are final unless otherwise approved by California Dealer Academy in writing.

No Refunds

California Dealer Academy does not offer automatic refunds for online courses, pre-licensing courses, continuing education, downloadable materials, consultation services, dealership setup packages, document preparation services, or any other digital or service-based purchase.

By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Payment is final once submitted.
  • Access to course materials, digital content, forms, guides, or services may begin immediately after purchase.
  • Failure to complete a course, attend a scheduled session, use purchased materials, respond to requests for information, or continue with the dealer licensing process does not create a right to a refund.
  • Change of mind, scheduling conflicts, business changes, DMV delays, application denials, zoning issues, bond issues, insurance issues, corporate setup issues, or failure to meet state or local licensing requirements do not create a right to a refund.

Discretionary Exceptions

California Dealer Academy reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to approve a refund, partial refund, account credit, transfer, reschedule, or other accommodation on a case-by-case basis.

Any exception made by California Dealer Academy is voluntary and does not waive our right to enforce this policy in any other situation.

Course Access and Transfers

When appropriate, California Dealer Academy may choose to offer a customer one of the following alternatives instead of a refund:

  • Course transfer to another eligible student
  • Credit toward a different service or package
  • Rescheduled consultation or support call
  • Extended course access
  • Application of funds toward a higher-level package or dealership setup service

These options are not guaranteed and must be approved in writing by California Dealer Academy.

Dealer Licensing and DMV Outcomes

California Dealer Academy provides education, guidance, and support related to the California dealer licensing process. However, California Dealer Academy does not guarantee that any customer will receive a dealer license, pass an inspection, obtain zoning approval, secure a bond, obtain insurance, form a corporation, receive DMV approval, or successfully open a dealership.

The customer remains responsible for meeting all federal, state, local, DMV, zoning, tax, business licensing, and regulatory requirements.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact California Dealer Academy first regarding any billing concern before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

If a chargeback is filed after access to digital materials, course content, consultation, or services has been provided, California Dealer Academy reserves the right to provide documentation showing the purchase, access, delivery of services, customer communication, and acceptance of this policy.

Errors or Duplicate Payments

If a customer believes they were charged in error or made a duplicate payment, they should contact California Dealer Academy as soon as possible. Verified duplicate charges or processing errors may be corrected at California Dealer Academy's discretion.
