Signage

☐ Front door sign: minimum 2ft x 2ft, permanent, shows name/address/hours/phone
☐ Display/directory sign in a street-facing window if you share a building with other businesses
☐ Confirm your dealership has its own accessible entrance -- not through another business's controlled space
☐ Parking sign: hood height, permanent (concrete-set), reads name/address/"For Display Only -- No Parking"
☐ Every displayed vehicle is either inspection-complete with a posted Buyers Guide, or clearly marked not for sale

Office Setup

☐ Desk, chair, and locking filing cabinet in your office
☐ Photos ready: front door (open and closed), path to office, office setup

Required Postings

☐ Right to Inspect Used Vehicle sign posted (min. 8"x10")
☐ Correct cooling-off / right-to-cancel sign posted for the applicable date (current requirement through 9/30/2026, new CARS Act requirement effective 10/1/2026 -- check the full guide for details)
☐ Spanish/foreign language contract disclosure sign posted where applicable
☐ Seller's permit displayed
☐ Business license displayed

Buyers Guide

☐ Buyers Guide posted on every used vehicle offered for sale (federal FTC requirement, separate from DMV licensing)
